Privacy
What happens to the information you share with me here. In plain language, because you should not need a lawyer to understand what a website does with your name.
The short version. This is a coaching and consulting practice, not healthcare. I collect what you send me through a form and nothing else. No cookies, no tracking, no health information. I never sell your information, I delete enquiries that do not turn into work together within twelve months, and you can ask me at any time to show you what I hold or to delete it.
Who I am and where I work from
Anna Milaeva, an independent coach, is the data controller for annamilaeva.com. The practice is based in the United States and has no office, staff, or entity anywhere else. I work with people around the world, entirely online, and what you send me is held in the United States.
This policy is governed by the law of the United States. Where the law where you live gives you stronger rights, those rights stand, and I apply the same ones to everyone regardless of where they write from. Reach me about anything on this page through the contact form. I answer within thirty days.
What this practice is
Coaching and consulting. Not therapy, not counselling, not medical or mental health treatment. I am not a healthcare provider, I do not bill insurance, and HIPAA does not apply here.
I do not ask for or collect health information: no diagnoses, no medical or therapy records, no medication or treatment history, no insurance details. Please do not send them. I do not need them and I do not keep them.
What I collect, and why
- Contact form: your name, your email address, and what you write, so that I can answer you. The basis is your consent, and the contract between us if we go on to work together.
- Sacred Circles waitlist: your name and email address, so that I can tell you when a circle is forming. The basis is your consent.
- Booking and payment: handled on Calendly and Paperbell. I see the booking and the receipt, never your card details. The basis is the contract between us.
- Newsletter: handled on Substack. The basis is your consent, and you can unsubscribe from any issue.
All of it is your choice to give. Nothing on this site requires it except the thing you are asking for.
Who else handles it
These companies do one job each on my behalf:
- Formspree passes form submissions to my inbox. Privacy policy.
- Calendly books intro calls. Privacy policy.
- Paperbell handles package checkout and payment. Privacy policy.
- Substack hosts the newsletter and the subscribe box on the book page. Privacy policy.
- GitHub Pages hosts this site and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security. Privacy statement.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google and your IP address reaches Google in the process.
These companies are in the United States, as I am, so your information stays there. Nobody else receives it. I do not sell it and I do not use it for advertising. The one exception is a legal obligation I cannot refuse, and I would tell you unless I were prevented from doing so.
Cookies and tracking
This site currently sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording, and no third party collects information about your activity across other sites through it. Since nothing here tracks you, a Do Not Track signal from your browser changes nothing. If I add analytics later, this section will say what it measures and the date below will change before it starts.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work together: deleted within twelve months.
- Waitlist sign-ups: until the circle you asked about has run, or until you ask to come off the list.
- Coaching records (scheduling, agreements, and my working notes on the coaching): while we work together and for up to three years afterwards.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is longer than the periods above.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask me what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, ask me to stop using it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not undo what was already done while it was given.
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, these are your rights under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, and they also include objecting to certain uses, receiving your information in a portable form, and complaining to your national supervisory authority. If you are elsewhere, I give you the same rights anyway.
Ask through the contact form. Nothing to justify, no form to fill in.
Keeping it safe
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and the services above hold information in accounts protected by strong unique passwords and two factor authentication where it is offered. No system is perfect. If something ever happened to information of yours, I would tell you promptly.
Children
This work is for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent me something, tell me through the contact form and I will delete it.
Other sites
This site links out to Amazon, Calendly, Paperbell, Substack, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Once you follow a link you are on their site, under their privacy policy rather than this one.
Changes
If any of this changes in a way that matters, I will update this page and change the date below before the change takes effect. There is no separate notice, so the date is how you can tell.
Effective date: 20 August 2026.
